Author Talk: Lucy Strange. Coming to KC as part of our Arts Week programme - Thursday 11th February

As part of our Arts Week programme we are delighted to welcome Lucy Strange to give an author talk about her latest book The Ghost of Gosswater.

The talk will take place on Thursday, 11 February and will be during periods 3 and 4 for Year 7 students, and periods 5 and 6 for Year 8 students. The talk will be delivered over google meet and the code for this will be sent on the morning of the talk.

Lucy Strange is a bestselling children's author and our very own Writer in Residence at Kent College. The Ghost of Gosswater is Lucy’s third book for young readers following her critically acclaimed debut The Secret of Nightingale Wood, and Waterstones Book Prize shortlisted historical fiction Our Castle by the Sea.

Copies of The Ghost of Gosswater can be ordered by placing an order here. The book is priced £6.99 and the cost will be added to your next school bill. Although it is not possible for Lucy Strange to sign the copies of the books you order, she will sign book plates and send them into school. These can then be stuck into the front of the book. If you order a book, please say who you would like it to be dedicated to. The books and book plates will be given out when we return to school.
