The Debating Society

Last week, the Year 5 and 6 children had the opportunity to take part in a workshop led by a small group of Year 12 students. The older pupils showed the Junior ones how to construct and defend an argument and they then went on to give a demonstration of their debating skills by holding a live debate, complete with timer and gable. The Year 5 and 6 had many contributions to make and it seems like the future of the Debating Society is in good hands.
