Sedecim Concert, St Mary's Church

Magnificent concert given by Sedecim at St Mary’s Church, Stowting on Sunday evening. A programme of great variety, including sacred motets and anthems, arrangements of classic popular songs, and a recent new work commissioned for the choir. Choral pieces were interspersed with ensemble items and some outstanding solos from Dulcie, Eliot, Alicia and Olivia. Also, such fun to revisit a number from Iolanthe, when Tolloller, Mountararat and the Lord Chancellor donned their best robes once again! Such warm appreciation from a large audience which completely filled this lovely village church. A fulfilling end to a very busy week and weekend for Kent College’s musicians.
