KC Santas on the run!

As you know Kent College has a strong tradition of supporting a wide variety of charities. Following the success of the Santa in recent years a hardy group of athletic staff and 50 students will be getting into festive mood by completing the Pilgrims Hospice fun run in Herne Bay. The run is a fundraising event for the Pilgrims Hospices.
Pilgrims Hospices has been providing end of life care and support for patients with a range of life-limiting illnesses and their families across east Kent for more than 30 years. They are a registered charity offering their services free of charge. The first of the three hospices opened at Canterbury in 1982 and was followed by Thanet in 1992 and then Ashford in 2001. Seventy five per cent of the funding of the Hospices comes from charitable donations, last year it cost £14 million to operate the three Hospices.
If you felt you were able to support the staff in their fundraising efforts then Please Click Here to go to the JustGiving page that we are using to collect donations. If you would like to come and support our efforts and witness more than 700 Santas running then we are setting off at 11.00 am from the bandstand in Herne Bay this Sunday.
