Alumni fighting Covid

Hattie left KC in 2018 and is currently studying Biomedical Science at the University of Birmingham but due to COVID-19 is unable to do her exams. Instead she is now employed by a healthcare agency and works in several care homes across East Kent as a healthcare assistant.
“I worked during the peak of COVID-19 and on my first shift I was the designated carer for the residents who tested positive.
I have an extensive routine when coming home to my parents so that I do not put them in danger. I am still working and have just been employed by the NHS as a healthcare assistant too. I will soon get onto a Medicine degree to become a doctor!”
A huge round of applause for Hattie and everything that she is doing during the Covid-19 outbreak, we are so proud of you.
