Congratulations Grace!

Kent College would like to congratulate alumna Grace Balsdon on her part in the historic gold medal victory of the England Women’s Hockey Team at this year’s Commonwealth Games. Grace was not only one of the top goal scorers of the tournament, but also scored a hat-trick in their match against Wales.

Grace has also previously helped Team GB win a bronze medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics by scoring the winning goal in their final match.

Grace comes back to KC regularly to take masterclass coaching sessions with our students. Hockey is a key focus for sport at KC, and Grace credits her Kent College coaches for the support and encouragement she received to pursue hockey as a career to the highest level. We hope her success inspires KC students and we wish her all the best in her hockey career.
