Incredible Mathematical Achievement

This year Kent College had 2 students, Issac an Omid (year 8) selected to take part in the Junior Olympiad, only 1200 in the country are invited to do so.
Both students did very well with Omid achieving a Gold Medal, this is awarded to the top 40 scores in the country. Omid achieved best in school earlier in the year in the Intermediate Maths challenge taken by our Year 10 and 11. He also qualified for the next round, the Cayley Olympiad, and he finished just outside the top 100 in this competition, missing a medal by one mark. Not bad for someone 3 years younger than most of the other competitors.
Well done boys we are incrdibly proud of both of you.
