Sixth Form students are required to set an example to the rest of the school and should follow the dress code at all times. Sixth Form boys wear a suit in dark grey, black or navy with a tie of any colour. Girls wear a tailored trouser suit or skirt and jacket in dark grey, black or navy. Skirts should NOT be shorter than knee length. Pupils may wear a plain, well-ironed shirt or blouse (with sleeves and collar) of any colour or with checks and stripes. Shirts or blouses should always be tucked in. A V-necked jumper of any colour may be worn under the jacket, and boys may wear a waistcoat of any colour if preferred.
All uniform should be clearly labelled with name tapes, and footwear should also be labelled with permanent marker.
Day pupils travelling to and from school must wear full school uniform. Exceptions to this rule can be made only with permission of the Senior School Head Master.
Girls may wear one small ring and a discreet silver or gold necklace with a small attachment. One plain stud earring can be worn in the lobe of each ear. Bracelets and anklets are not allowed and no jewellery at all is to be worn for PE. Please ensure that all earrings can be removed for sport and games. It is the expectation that boys should not normally wear any jewellery.
No extreme hairstyles are allowed and hair may only be dyed natural colours. Discreet and natural looking makeup are permitted. Nail varnish can be worn but should be of one colour and should not be chipped. Nails must be kept short. Boys must be clean shaven.
