Since 1885, when the school was founded, it has had a long tradition of high achievement in a number of areas including academic, sports, art and music, and has created cherished memories for so many. Kent College is probably best known, though, for its unique atmosphere and spirit where pupils from many backgrounds, faiths and countries learn together in a friendly and happy community.
Many parents ask us when is the best time to start at Kent College Junior School. Each child should begin as soon as the family has made the decision to join. Children arrive throughout the year and settle so quickly because the whole community makes each child and family feel so welcome, happy and excited to come to school each day. This happiness is the essential foundation for our specialist teachers to provide an awe, wonder and inspiration to learn for all children.
