EASY4U LAPTOP SCHEME

Twenty-first Century education requires technology appropriate for the age and at Kent College we are forward thinking in our approach to innovative learning. While hand written school work is still an integral part of school life, online reseach, presentations, essays and course work increasingly require the use of a laptop and are essential as we prepare students for their next step to university or the world of work. To ensure your child has the most appropriate laptop to work with our school operating systems, we have set an arrangement with EASY4U who provide high quality equipment, a range of laptop options that can be puchased or rented from three to five years.

Students cannot use their own devices for school work. Laptops for school use must be purchased through EASY4U. This also enables us to add additional safe-guarding protocols and to protect the wider school network.

HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER:

2. Choose your device and select the term of your Easy4U Assurance Bundle.

3. Opt to rent or purchase.

4. Fill in the details and choose your payment option.

5. You will receive an order confirmation by email.

HOW IT'S ORGANISED 

ORDERING
  • Devices tailored for educational use.
  • Renting or purchase options.
  • Contract is directly with the parents, teachers or educational institution.
  • No credit checks.
  • Includes school device security protocols.
  • Creation of a parent and student portal.
CONFIGURATION
  • The devices are configured specifically for each student.
  • Imaging/registration in school specific domain.
  • Fully charged.
  • Provided with personalised service tag.
  • Equiped with solid moisture-proof protective cover.
  • Provision of Intune data.
DELIVERY
  • Delivery is in the name of the student.
  • The student received a collection note by email.
  • The student signs digitally and receives a confirmation email.
  • The device is ready to use.
SERVICE, DAMAGE AND THEFT COVER
  • A replacement device in case of repair or damage.
  • No labour, repair or transport costs.
  • Service organised for the school.
  • Includes damage and theft cover with a limited excess.
CONDITIONS FOR RENT
  • Customer pays a deposit in advance equal to four rental periods (this does not apply in case of purchase).
  • Option to buy at the end of the term against retention of the deposit amount.
  • Payment by recurring payment (per month, or per year).
  • No credit rating assessment or registration needed.
