WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL, WHERE YOUNG PEOPLE THRIVE IN AN OPEN-MINDED AND OPEN HEARTED COMMUNITY
Kent College Senior School is a happy and caring school where students develop a love of learning, nurtured to achieve their potential academically and in the many personal, musical and sporting passions they pursue. It is most definitely a place where teachers really get to know the pupils, and have the time and space to give individual attention, both academically and pastorally.
We are a high achieving but non-selective school with an exceptionally broad curriculum and welcome students from all backgrounds, countries and faiths.
I would strongly encourage you to visit, to meet our staff and pupils, and to experience Kent College for yourself. I look forward to welcoming you.
Mr Mark Turnbull
Headteacher
A TAILORED CURRICULUM THAT DELIVERS RESULTS
Outstanding teaching and learning opportunities allow pupils to follow their passions and achieve exceptional academic results at GCSE, A-level and International Baccalaureate. While we are a non-selective school our students' learning progression means we are a leading IB World school and a top 50 UK Independent school for the percentage of pupils achieving A*- B grades at A Level.
We also offer a wide range of additional support for pupils including English language teaching in our International Study Centre, and a specialist Learning Support Centre. We were delighted that at our most recent full inspection the Independent Schools Inspectorate judged the school to be ‘excellent’ in every aspect – the highest grade possible.

PASTORAL AND SPIRITUAL CARE - IN SAFE HANDSThe happiness and wellbeing of our pupils is at the heart of everything we do. We are a kind, welcoming and inclusive community and encourage a culture of collaboration and open- mindedness. We work closely with pupils and their families to ensure every student at the school is safe, valued, and supported to be themselves. |
AN OUTSTANDING RANGE OF SPORT AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PUPILS TO EXCEL
Sport, Music, and Drama all play a major role in our school life and offer opportunities for everyone, from beginners to elite level performers. We also offer a wide-ranging variety of activities and clubs, as well as the opportunity to work on our School Farm. All of these co-curricular activities feed into the much wider theme that informs everything we do: that young people who feel good about themselves do well, whatever their chosen path may be.
The artistic life of the school fizzes with creativity and reflects
the broad artistic interests of our community.
AN IMPRESSIVE RANGE OF CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Life outside the classroom is as important to us as life in lessons, and with so much on offer before, during and after school, there is something to excite every pupil’s interests. Activities include everything from electronics to Young Enterprise — all great ways to make friends and discover new talents.
