FARM CLUB AT KC
We are proud to partner with Lucketts Farm, located just down the road from Kent College.
Lucketts Farm provides our students with the opportunity to work with farm animals, and experience what life on a working farm is really like.
With horses, sheep, cows, pigs, alpacas, donkeys, goats, chickens, and so much more, there are so many animals for our students to care for and learn all about.
Lucketts Farm is a short walk from the main senior school campus, and is open to all students from both the junior and senior schools.
KC YOUNG FARMERS CLUB
Our Farmers’ Club has been in action for more than 60 years, and it allows students to work with all the animals on the farm.

One of the highlights of the school year is a visit every July to the Kent County Show, where animals are carefully groomed and shown by students, often winning prizes. |

KC HORSE RIDING
Horse riding, in partnership with Barton Farm Field Equestrian Centre, is open to all students – they do not need to have their own pony, so it is a great opportunity for those who are interested in learning how to ride and look after horses.
Kent College has a horse riding team that competes at National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) events, including show-jumping, eventers challenge, and arena eventing. The team regularly qualifies and competes at the NSEA regional and national events and has won a variety of awards.

RIDING LESSONS
Students in Years 11-13 can take part in horse riding as part of 'Senior Games', which takes place every Thursday afternoon. Horse riding is available for other students on an individual basis. Families can contact Barton Farm Field Equestrian Centre directly to arrange riding lessons outside of normal school hours.
