WHY CHOOSE KC?
"Do all the good you can"
At Kent College, we believe every student deserves an education that is ambitious, inspiring and tailored to who they are. For 140 years, we have combined the strength of our heritage with a forward-thinking approach that prepares young people to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Located on a beautiful 80-acre campus in the historic city of Canterbury, our students enjoy the very best of both worlds: a safe and spacious environment surrounded by countryside, with the cultural opportunities of Canterbury, the Kent coast and London all within easy reach.
Ours is a genuinely global community, where students from more than 40 nationalities learn, live and grow together. We celebrate different perspectives, encourage curiosity and help every student develop the confidence, compassion and global outlook to make a positive difference.
With around 800 students, Kent College offers the perfect balance. We are large enough to provide exceptional academic choice, outstanding facilities and more than 100 co-curricular activities, yet small enough that every student is individually known, supported and encouraged to achieve their personal best.
Students can join Kent College from just three months old in our Nursery, continue through our Junior School and progress into our Senior School and Sixth Form. Around one-third of our Senior School students are boarders, creating a vibrant, welcoming community that feels like home for students from across the UK and around the world.

Kent College has a reputation as a friendly school. It is most definitely a place where teachers really get to know the pupils, and have the time and space to give individual attention, both academically and pastorally. While it is a non-selective school, our students consistently achieve excellent academic results at GCSE, A Level, and in the International Baccalaureate.
Sport, Music and Drama all play a major role in our school life and offer opportunities for everyone, from beginners to elite level performers.
