Historic Canterbury
We are very fortunate to be located in Canterbury in the South-East of England. This beautiful, ancient city is one of the jewels in the county of Kent’s crown. At the heart of the walled city is Canterbury Cathedral begun in 597AD by St Augustine and is still welcoming pilgrims today. Fascinating medieval streets such as the King’s Mile and Cathedral Quarter provide many small independent shops and there are numerous bustling cafes and restaurants. With 3 universities and numerous Arts festivals and theatres, Canterbury has a vibrant and creative atmosphere and yet manages to remain a small, friendly and safe community which still welcomes pilgrims today.
