Our fees are inclusive of all meals, snacks and drinks.

We offer an extension onto our sessions (7:30am - 8:00am and 6:00pm - 6:30pm) which are
charged at £8.75 each.
*Funding may only be claimed on full day sessions, at a maximum of two sessions a week.
WORKING PARENT ENTITLEMENT FUNDING
At Garden Cottage Nursery, we accept Working Parent Entitlement funding. Here is a breakdown of how the funding works at Garden Cottage:
- If your child attends full days at nursery, you will be able to access your funding (providing
- you are eligible, for criteria please follow the link: Working Parent Entitlement Criteria).
- We will be offering stretched funding over the 50 weeks we are open which will allow you to
- access 11.4 hours a week (5.7 hours a day split over 2 full days).
- Our funded hours are 8:00am - 01:42pm.
- In order to access the funding you must submit your eligibility code on the form sent out
- when your child starts at nursery. You must also include your NI number as well as your full
- name in order for us to check the validity of a code.
- The funding requires all parents to fill out a termly form to ensure your details have not
- changed and that you are still eligible for funding. These forms will be completed within the
- nursery at a pick up time once a term.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The nursery, based in Canterbury, is operational 50 weeks per year, closed 1 week at Christmas and 1 week at Easter, and on Bank Holidays.
In order to encourage continuity of care, children are required to attend a minimum of 2 half-day sessions per week. Half sessions need to be booked on seperate days.
All fees are payable on the 1st of the month for the month in advance. At the time of booking, £750 will be required as a deposit and will be returned upon your child leaving the nursery, providing 4 weeks’ notice in writing has been given and your accounts are clear (please see terms and conditions).
For all places, a registration fee of £150 per child shall be payable and submitted with the completed registration form and deposit. This fee is only refundable if the Nursery cannot offer a place for your child on the date required.
