TILLY'S SUCCESS IN WOMENS CRICKET.
There is so much to be said for our KC sports scholars and all that they achieve! This week we wish to spotlight Tilly, a year 12 student who was invited to play for the womens U19s England team against Sri Lanka. In addition to this, she has been drafted to take part in The Hundred alongside her teammates and will play matches against other franchises up against some of the best players in the world.
Tilly has been at Kent College since the start of Junior School, moving up to the Senior School as a Sports Scholar.
She now works with several coaches in school, who align their sessions with the South East Stars Cricket and more recently England Cricket training plans, ensuring continuity across her in school and out of school training.
When we spoke with Tilly back in November she told us her goal was to become an international cricketer, and with selection in the U19's she is well on her way to achieving that ambition!
