KC Drama Scholar Auditions For London Musical

KC DRAMA SCHOLAR GRACE EARNS LONDON MUSICAL AUDITION

Here at Kent College, we take immense pride in our drama scholars and their talent.

One scholar in particular has made us extremely proud; Grace has been a central part of many of our drama productions over her years at KC and has now moved from our modest, Great Hall stage to audition at the Lyric Hammersmith in London for a brand-new musical named ‘Fangirls’.

Not only has Grace been selected out of almost 2,000 applicants (!) but the musical itself is very new and exciting. The musical is based on the frenzy of being a fangirl and concerns itself with the experience of female adolescence, a perfect production for one of our sixth formers to audition for.

We believe it is so important to highlight the success of our scholars, Grace is a perfect example of what can be achieved when you stick with a true passion for your subject and have the support and backing of your department. For any younger students who have a love and passion for drama, keep at it and one day this could be you!

We would also like to invite anyone in our KC community to come and support Grace at her recital on Wednesday 21st of February which will be held at the Great Hall at 17:00.
