Lake District trip

KC's year 7 & 8 conquer the lakes!

Over the bank holiday weekend the Geography team have been busy in the Lakes despite some challenging weather, all completed a high level hike to the top of the Old Man of Coniston during which they experienced all four seasons and had lunch in a cloud!

This was perfect preparation for camping out under the stars which were actually visible! In our last full day the team canoed across Coniston Water, explored an island and enjoyed various team games on the lake all despite driving rain.

Final evening  activities include crate stacking and more rounds of cards and table tennis. We headed south on Wednesday with a tired but very happy group.
