Kent College celebrates excellent A-level and Cambridge Technical results! 

Students at Kent College Canterbury are celebrating another excellent set of sixth form results, with strong A-level and Cambridge Technical outcomes completing an impressive summer of academic success for KC. 

There were some exceptional individual performances: Cameron achieved five A* grades and will now take up a place at the University of Cambridge to study Natural Sciences. Harry achieved three A* grades and will study Medicine at the University of Liverpool, while Amelia achieved three A* grades and one A, and will study Psychology at the University of Bath. 

As a proudly non-selective school, we place particular importance on supporting every student to fulfil their individual potential. Students are encouraged to follow the academic pathway best suited to their strengths, interests and ambitions, with a breadth of qualifications allowing them to build a programme that works for them. 

Katoula, who joined Kent College for sixth form, achieved an A and B at A-level and a Distinction* in her Cambridge Technicals, and will now head to Loughborough University to study Sport Management. 

Other individual successes include:  

• Jacob (A*, A*, A*, A*) – Medicine in Germany.  

• Martha (Distinction*, double Distinction*, B) – Product Design at Manchester Metropolitan University.  

• Electra (A*, A, A, B, Distinction*) – Spanish and Latin American Studies at UCL. 

• Margot (A*, A, A, A) – Geography at University of Glasgow.  

This year, KC achieved an impressive 99% pass rate. 84% of A-level grades were awarded at A*-C, with 65% awarded at A*-B, marking a significant increase across the board compared with previous years. 

These results follow our outstanding International Baccalaureate (IB) results earlier this summer and highlight the strength and breadth of our sixth form provision, where students can choose from A-levels, the IB Diploma and Cambridge Technical qualifications. KC has just been named the top small cohort IB boarding school globally in the 2026 IB League Tables.
